New Year

So, I haven’t had time to blog for a while (yeah, yeah, excuses excuses!) but I hope your new year started fine and that you’re tagged for everything 2012 has to offer.

I don’t have to mention 21.12.12, do I? Or the Olympics, for those who live in London. Currently, when I look out my window I see the olympic village clutter the skyline with their beige facades and dark windows… Okay, I have to sort of lean out the windows to see it clearly, but I know it’s there 🙂 Anyone going for the olympics? Me, myself and I plan on evacuating by the time the champions roll in and before the tube gets too clogged with visitors… no matter how much they say they’re prepared, I’m sure it’s going to be chaos once it’s here, and I can’t be bothered to be here in the chaos. Just a normal summer with tourists on the streets of London is enough for me.

Enough about that already. The point I wanted to get to is New Years Resolutions. Do you have any? I’ve been blissfully unaware of these the biggest part of my life, it’s only the last couple New Years that I’ve decided to give it a go… and of course I’ve failed. (might have to do with putting too high goals, I mean, for someone who manage to write one book/year, suddenly writing 4 boos/year is a bit… high…)

Not undoable though. I know I could manage it, but I’m far too undiciplined for it. So this year my resolution is one book. One completely finished, edited, proofread book, for sale online. I set my date for May 1st. We’re now two thirds through January and… I’ve written… actually re-written… ONE chapter. ONE of twenty or twenty five or so.

Yeah.

Wish me luck.
